Islamabad, IRNA – Women have filled the streets in the city of Karachi, southern Pakistan, condemning the Zionist regime’s crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and voicing support for the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm that resistance movement Hamas launched against the regime on October 7.

Religious and civil activists along with academics and university students, among others, attended the rally in Karachi, the capital of Sindh Province, on Saturday.

They chanted slogans against the Zionist regime and the US.

The protesting women voiced support for the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, saying that the Palestinian people have the legal right to battle the occupying regime and defend their rights in the face of Israeli aggression.

The demonstrators also called on countries to impose political and economic sanctions against Israel, promising that they will continue to support the Palestinian people.

Pro-Palestinian protests have been growing in different parts of the world ever since the Israeli regime bombed the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in central Gaza on Tuesday (October 17), with many saying that the regime is committing genocide against the Palestinian people.

The hospital was packed with civilians who had evacuated their homes in the northern Gaza Strip following an order by Tel Aviv to do so.
