The Ninth Conference of Environment Ministers of the Islamic World was held by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in the Saudi kingdom, providing the Award for Environmental Management in the Islamic World.
The ISESCO appreciated Taghavi, an associate professor in the Environmental and Energy Department at the Islamic Azad University Science and Research Branch, for her highly cited papers among five thousand contributors in the environmental field.
Ali Salajeqeh, Vice President of Iran and Head of Iran's Department of Environment, traveled to Saudi capital Jeddah to participate in the Ninth Conference of Environment Ministers of the Islamic World, which was held on October 18-19, 2023.
