Tehran, IRNA - Deputy chief of the Iranian Judiciary and secretary of the High Council for Human Rights Kazem Gharibabadi has reacted to awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Iranian woman Narges Mohammadi, saying that the real winners of the prize are victims of terrorism and sanctions.

Gharibabadi wrote in a message on social media on October 6 that the victims of terrorism, sanctions, chemical warfare, as well as the martyrs of the Baath regime’s imposed war on Iran, including women and girls, mothers of martyrs, elite and specialized women who dedicated their lives to the development of the country and people are the main winners of the prize.

The Nobel Peace Prize has nothing to do with the promotion of brotherhood among nations as well as safeguarding and improving peace, he argued, noting that the political prize turned into a financial support for illegal activities of some of its champions.
