Tehran, IRNA – People filled the streets in major Iranian cities on Saturday night in a show of solidarity with the Palestinian people in their ongoing battle to liberate their land from the Zionist regime’s occupation.

Iranians gathered in jubilation in the capital Tehran as well as the cities of Mashhad, Tabriz and Zanjan, reiterating support for the Palestinians’ resistance and celebrating their achievements in the conflict with the regime.

Tehranis gathered at a central square named “Palestine” in a show of support for the Palestinians. Some carried pictures of martyred top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, who was assassinated in a US drone strike in Iraq in January 2020 and was a prominent figure of the resistance front.

Carrying Palestinian flags, the Iranians chanted slogans in condemnation of the regime’s atrocities against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, which is hit by Israeli attacks.

A pro-Palestine rally was also held in Yemen. People took to the streets in the capital Sana’a, expressing support for the Palestinian “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation against the Zionist regime. The Yemenis also denounced the regime’s crimes against the Palestinian people.
