Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has appointed a new assistant and Director-General of the Persian Gulf Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Mohammad Alibak, who has previously served as Iran’s ambassador to Nigeria and the caretaker and deputy ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Muscat, has been appointed as the assistant to the foreign minister and director-general of the Persian Gulf Department on Wednesday.

Alireza Enayati, Iran’s new ambassador to Saudi Arabia was the former director-general of the Persian Gulf Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
