Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani has extended condolences to the Libyan government and nation over the recent storm and flooding in the country in which a large number of citizens were killed or went missing.

In his message on Monday, Kanaani extended his sympathies to the families of the victims, expressing sorrow for the tragic incident.

The foreign ministry spokesman prayed for the departed souls to rest in peace, calling on the Almighty God to grant quick recovery to those injured in the unfortunate event.
