According to a Saturday report by the IRNA, Mahmood Hashemi said today that the Islamic Republic of Iran will host the 7th SMIIC-AC meeting.
The SMIIC Accreditation Council held its 6th meeting on 6-8 September 2023 in Turkiye with the participation of 12 member countries.
The 6th annual management meeting of SMIIC-AC Islamic countries has ended its work with the approval of the Islamic Assembly of Halal Accreditation Bodies.
The main focus of this meeting was the adoption of the Islamic Assembly's constitution for Halal Accreditation Bodies, the independence and impartiality of the assembly, Halal verification operations among OIC member states, various types of membership, and the location of the secretariat.
