Videos disseminated on social media on Saturday showed that the Yak-130 combat-training jets have entered the country and are in the service of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF).
No Iranian official has confirmed Yak-130 training Jets entering the country yet, but given that the entrance issue of such training and combat aircraft has already been on the agenda, it seems that the existence of those fighters in the country has been finalized.
These training jets will be utilized to train new pilots who will fly the new generation fighters of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF).
The Yak-130 jets that can carry 3 tons of ammunition for combat missions are intended for flight and combat training of flight personnel on the 4th and 5th Iranian jet fighter generations.
