Bandar Abbas, IRNA – Thanks to the investment opportunities in Hormozgan province, located in southern Iran, the country is ready to attract Indian investors in the fields of port and medicine and to build a pharmaceutical town, Governor of Hormozgan Mahdi Doosti has said.

Doosti made these remarks during a meeting with the Indian Ambassador to Iran, Rudra Gaurav Shresth.

He highlighted the strategic port of Shahid Rajaee as one of the most important capacities of Hormozgan province and expressed readiness to share this capacity with India.

Doosti also mentioned that 2,400 hectares of land in the backshore have been allocated for investment, inviting Indian businesses, and private and public sectors, to invest in these lands.

Although India has made good investments in Chabahar, Bandar Abbas is considered the main port for the country, Shresth said.

He called for solving the problems of the Indian sailors.
