Tehran, IRNA – Over 100,000 demonstrators took to the streets across the occupied Palestinian territories for the 33rd consecutive week to protest against the Zionist regime’s cabinet and its so-called judicial overhaul plan.

According to i24NEWS, demonstrations against prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s far-right cabinet were held in 150 places across occupied Palestine.

Some protesters blocked off the northbound route of Tel Aviv’s Ayalon Highway while carrying torches.

Former Mossad chief Danny Yatom spoke at a demonstration in Haifa, saying that the regime is on its way toward falling apart.

Netanyahu wanted to be remembered “as the defender of Israel, but he will be remembered as the destroyer,” Yatom said.

The ongoing protests began in January when Netanyahu announced his decision to push the judicial overhaul plan through the regime’s parliament.

Back in March, Netanyahu announced a “pause” on pushing his plan, which is aimed at curtailing the authority of the Supreme Court and giving politicians greater powers over the selection of judges. However, the demonstrators demand that the plan be permanently canceled.
