Major General Yitzhak Brick, a reserve in the Israeli army, warned that the Israeli regime is “surrounded” from all directions by hundreds of thousands of rockets and missiles, according to a report by Al-Ahed News.
“Our enemy has formed a ring that encircles Israel, and I refer to it as the 'strangling ring', because over 250,000 rockets and missiles from all directions have surrounded us,” he said.
The retired general conceded that the resistance front has the ability to launch an average of 3,500 missiles and rockets a day towards the Israeli occupied territories in any future war.
Today, the Israeli regime is in “the most precarious situation” and will have to engage multiple fronts simultaneously in case of a war, namely Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the Syrian front, Brick said.
Hezbollah has frequently warned the Israeli regime against testing the movement’s firepower, saying its weapons stockpiles include tens of thousands of precision missiles that can hit any target within the occupied territories.
