Isfahan, IRNA – Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Vương Đình Huệ, in a visit to Isfahan, central Iran, has hailed the cultural, economic, industrial, and agricultural potential of the city.

During a meeting with Isfahan Governor Reza Mortazavi on Friday, the Vietnamese parliament speaker said that the visit to Iran takes place to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

He said that upon arrival in Isfahan, he had got to know why the city is known as “half of the world”.

The official added that at the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Iran and Vietnam, expansion of cooperation in different cultural, trade and economic areas is on the agenda.
