Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s new Ambassador to Bulgaria Ali Reza Irvash has officially started his mission in the East European country by presenting his credentials to Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.

Irvash submitted his credentials to Radev on in a ceremony in Sofia, according to Wednesday report by the IRNA. 

Prior to his departure for the Bulgarian capital, the new ambassador held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and briefed him about his plans for expansion of relations between Tehran and Sofia.
