Tehran, IRNA – Head of Iran's emergency organization Jafar Miadfar has said that an emergency rescue helicopter made a hard landing due to a technical problem in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, southwestern Iran.

Miadfar said on Monday that the rescue helicopter had been dispatched to a remote rural area in the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province to help a 12-year-old child with a reduced level of consciousness.

The accident happened when the chopper was trying to land, he said, adding that all the people who were on board the copter were safe and healthcare technicians performed the necessary treatment for a 12-year-old child.
