Stambuk made the remarks in an economic meeting held in the central Iranian province of Isfahan on Monday with the participation of ambassadors of Russia, Tajikistan, and Malaysia in Tehran.
In his remarks, the Croatian ambassador hailed Iran as it was the first Asian country to officially recognize his country.
Then, he called for further cooperation with Iran in tourism, medical, religious, cultural, and economic fields.
Malaysian ambassador to Tehran Khairi Bin Omar who was also present in the meeting said his country was willing to widen trade exchange with Iran.
The figures show that the trade between Malaysia and Iran has increased during 2021 and 2022, he underlined.
At the end of his remarks, the Malaysian ambassador said his country supports the launch of a direct flight from Isfahan, located in central Iran, to Malaysia.
The first international conference focusing on nations’ diplomacy was held in Isfahan on Sunday for two days. A number of diplomats, ambassadors, researchers, and university professors were present at the conference.
