Palestine’s Samanews reported on Sunday that due to the strong resistance of members of Druze community living in Syria's Golan Heights, the prime minister of the Zionist regime Benjamin Netanyahu was forced to postpone his plan to install wind turbines in the occupied region.
Netanyahu announced his withdrawal from the pan during a telephone conversation with Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, a leader of the Druze community in the region.
Netanyahu made the decision after Israel's police commissioner Kobi Shabtai and the director of the Israeli Security Agency (Shabak), aka Shin Bet, Ronen Bar advised him to halt the plan. This happened while the regime’s security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir had also opposed the decision.
