In a meeting with hundreds of family members of Iranian martyrs at Imam Khomeini (RA) Hosseinyah in Tehran on Sunday, Ayatollah Khamenei called the martyrs the “great heroes” of the country’s history.
He clarified the high status of the martyrs’ families based on different Qur’anic, Jihadi, human, and social principles.
The Supreme Leader called on the media as well as the artists of all disciplines in Iran to promote the memory of the martyrs in an artistic and attractive way.
“Of course, good works have been done in the field of publishing books, films and some other artistic products in recent years, but they are not enough compared to the great works that should have been done,” he maintained.
“The behavior of these heroes, their remarkable moral characteristics, their lifestyle, and the changes in their lives set examples for the society, especially teenagers and young people,” he said, adding that publishing the memories of the martyrs’ families will play an important role to promote the martyrs as role models.
