- Venezuela can be a hub for redistribution of Iranian goods: MP

Noting that Venezuela has become Iran’s top commercial partner in Latin America, an Iranian lawmaker envisioned Venezuela as a potential hub for the redistribution of Iranian goods to other countries of the continent. Ahad Azadikhah made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Iran Daily shortly after Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi landed in Caracas on Monday, on the first stop of his Latin American tour.

- A deal, best option for Iran, U.S.

The exchange of messages and, possibly, negotiations between Iran and the United States has been ongoing for the past few months, taking place in various locations such as New York and Oman. Several noteworthy events have unfolded during this period, indicating a positive inclination from both parties to reach an agreement. These events include the exchange of prisoners, agreements between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency, the absence of a resolution against Iran during the recent meeting of the agency’s Board of Governors, and the partial release of Iran’s blocked assets abroad. These developments can be regarded as promising.

- Iran, Venezuela cement ties with 19 cooperation deals during Raeisi’s visit

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has begun his three-leg tour of Latin America with a stop in Venezuela, where both parties signed many cooperation agreements to further expand their political and economic relations. Raisi’s five-day tour to Latin America will also take him to Nicaragua and Cuba. Raisi was officially welcomed by his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro at the Miraflores Presidential Palace in Caracas on Monday after visiting the tomb of Simón Bolivar to pay tribute to the late Latin American revolutionary leader.

-  Iran-Venezuela trade can reach $20b

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that the value of trade between Iran and Venezuela can be increased to $10 billion in the first step and to $20 billion in the second step.

- Iran president holds high-level meetings in Venezuela

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his accompanying delegation held several meetings with Venezuelan officials in a bid to deepen partnership between Tehran and Caracas.  On Monday morning Iran’s local time, President Raisi left Tehran for a tour of three Latin American nations -Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba- at the head of large politico-economic delegation.

- Iran presents documents of sanctions-induced deaths to ICC

A senior Iranian official says that Tehran has presented the documents surrounding the U.S. sanctions-related deaths of Iranian thalassemia patients to The Hague-based International Criminal Court (ICC). Serving as the vice president for legal affairs in the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi, Mohammad Dehghan highlighted that Iran has a case in the ICC about the ramifications of the U.S. sanctions, especially on deaths of Iranian patients including thalassemia patients.

- Indonesia Expels Zionist Delegation From Bali Conference

Indonesia has rejected the presence of a delegation from the Zionist regime of Israel at an international conference in Bali despite claims by certain Israeli media sources about the progress in normalizing relations between the regime and the Muslim country. The head of the Israeli regime’s midwives association reportedly received a letter from the Indonesian authorities two weeks ago, in which concern was raised about the attendance of the Zionist regime’s delegation and the display of the regime’s flag at 33rd International Midwives Association conference.

- Maduro: Gen. Soleimani’s Sculpture to Be Installed in Caracas 

 Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has paid tribute to Iranian commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, highlighting his great contributions to international peace and stability. The Venezuelan president said that a bust sculpture of General Soleimani will soon be installed at the mausoleum of Venezuela’s independence hero Simon Bolivar in Caracas.

- Iran, Venezuela Sign 19 Cooperation Documents

Iran and Venezuela signed 19 documents to strengthen cooperation in various spheres as President Ebrahim Raisi visited the country at the start of his visit to South America. The agreements were signed by senior officials of the two countries during a ceremony here, overseen by Presidents Ebrahim Raisi and Nicolas Maduro.
