Tehran, IRNA – Iranian actress Fakhri Khorvash has died at the age of 93 after years of acting in Iranian theater, cinema, and TV.

Khorvash acted in more than 40 movies and starred in several popular TV series between 1948 to 2002, including in Amir Kabir (1985) television show in which she played the role of the mother of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, a king that rules Iran for 50 years in the 18th century.

She stopped acting after “A Little Kiss”, a 2005 Iranian drama by Bahman Farmanara, and settled in the United States to live with her family in Los Angeles.
