Tehran, IRNA – Secretary-General of Iran's High Council for Human Rights Kazem Gharibabadi has held talks with Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Ghada Waly.

Gharibabadi who left Tehran for Vienna, Austria, to take part in the 32nd session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at the Vienna International Center on May 22-26 met with Ghada Waly on Thursday.

The two sides discussed the way to implement a recently-signed Country Partnership Program between Iran and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime. They also emphasized the need for exchanging experiences on anti-drug fight between various nations as well as using the potentials and capacities of UNODC to prepare funds and equipment needed to implement partnership program.
