Islamabad, IRNA - Iran-Pakistan friendly borders are great opportunity to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries, Head of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Relations Commission Vahid Jalalzadeh has said.

Jalalzadeh made the remarks in Pakistan's Islamabad on the sidelines of the International Parliamentary Convention to celebrate Golden Jubilee of the Constitution.

In an exclusive interview with IRNA, the Iranian lawmaket termed parliamentary diplomacy as a factor for strengthening Tehran-Islamabad relations.

He added that the borders of peace and friendship between Iran and Pakistan are a great opportunity to strengthen economic ties.

This Iranian Member Of Parliament in his remarks said that Tehran believes that Pakistan in Iran's foreign policy is a very important country, because there are many fields for expanding bilateral relations between the two countries.

The legislator said that during his visit to Islamabad he will follow up on all the issues of interest to the two neighboring countries.

Pakistan's National Assembly hosts a two-day International Convention on May 10-11 to celebrate Golden Jubilee of the Constitution.
