Funeral and burial of late Ayatollah Soleimani in Qom

Ayatollah Soleimani was assassinated in an armed attack in the northern Iranian city of Babolsar.

Soleimani had served as a member of Iran's Assembly of Experts. He was also the representative of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and Friday prayer leader of the citities of Zahedan in southeastern Iran and Kashan, in central Iran.
