Zahedan, IRNA – In Iran’s campaign against arms smuggling, some 106 guns were confiscated in the southeastern city of Khash, a local official said.

Hassan Jahantigh, the prosecutor general of Sistan-Baluchestan Province, said on Wednesday that the busted guns include 100 revolvers and six AK-47 rifles.

Noting that one person was arrested in connection with the issue, the official said that some 881 war bullets were also seized from the person.

Khash is located some 185 kilometers from Zahedan, the capital of Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan.
