Tehran, IRNA – The figures show that the Iranian mining sector exports decreased by 7.6 percent during the previous Iran’s calendar year.

According to the released figures, the value of Iranian mining sector exports went down by 7.6 percent during the previous Iran’s calendar year (March 21, 2022-March 20, 2023) compared to the corresponding period the year before.

The figure registered a 3.5 percent surge by exporting more than $12.2 million during the said period.

Meanwhile, the steel chain with exports of over $5.7 billion has seen a 22 percent decline in value and a 6 percent decrease in weight.

The copper chain also came in second place with exports of $1.577 billion and a 27 percent decrease.

In the aluminum chain, there were $973 million in exports last year, which is 29% higher in value than the previous year.
