Tehran, IRNA – Export of goods from Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) exceeded $12 billion in the previous Iranian calendar year 1401 (ending on March 20), which shows a 31% increase compared to the previous year, according to top customs official in Iran's southwestern Boushehr province.

Bushehr Customs Office Supervisor Ali Soleimani said on Wednesday that goods exported from PZEES over the year to late March were worth over 22.7 million metric tons, up 12% from the previous year.

He added that last calendar year's exports from PZEES had accounted for 83% of the weight and 91% of the value of total exports from Bushehr province.
