Tehran, IRNA – Egyptian Minister of Tourism Ahmed Issa has said that Egypt will ease visa requirements for tourists coming from Iran.

Iranian citizens can only travel to Egypt through tourism agencies and visit southern Sinai, he added.

Ahmed Issa in a press conference on Monday announced that Egypt will ease visa requirements for tourists coming from Iran as part of a broader package of facilities to boost the tourism sector.

He further noted that his country would follow the step to ease visa requirements for other nationalities, including China, India, Turkiye, Morocco, and Algeria.
