Zanjan, IRNA – Iranian Minister of Interior Ahmad Vahidi said on Tuesday that a number of people have been arrested for being involved in recent poisoning of students, especially schoolgirls across the country.

Noting that these people have been arrested in some provinces with the efforts of the police and intelligence forces, the minister said that more efforts are underway to identify the rest of the people being behind this “big crime” which he said has been perpetrated intentionally with an earlier plan.

“Trying to create fear among the country's students, especially schoolgirls, is a big and unforgivable crime,” Vahidi said.
