The Iranian champions went to tatami in two Poomsae and George sections of the championship, and gained 2 gold medals and a silver medal in Poomsae, and 4 gold medals in George for our country.
In women's Poomsae, Iran's Maryam Khodabandeh beat her South Korean competitor to win a gold medal, and in men's field, too, Morteza Rezasefat defeated the South Korean athlete to win a silver medal. In team competitions, Iran's team, including Maryam Khodabandeh and Mortez Rezasefat, gained the gold medal again.
In women's George, too, Marziyeh Khoshahwal, Mohaddese Gholami, Fateme-Zahra Zoleikani and Mona Shiri all beat their rivals to win all four medals of the different weights.
