Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Minister of Information and Communications Technology Issa Zarepour has said that the Islamic Republic’s goal is to offer guaranteed services to other countries in the space sector.

The minister made the announcement on Monday in Tehran while addressing the 21st International Conference of the Iranian Aerospace Society.

He said that aerospace is a strategic industry that can resolve most of the problems the country is facing.

Zarepour also said that the current administration is strongly determined to advance the space industry of the country, adding that a document has been finalized that sets goals for the development of the industry over the next ten years.

As part of plans to develop the space industry, Iran aims to offer guaranteed services to other countries, the minister said without elaborating.
