Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on Thursday advised the White House to “stop the failed Iranophobia game”, adding that linking Al-Qaeda to Iran is patently absurd and baseless.

Writing on his official Twitter account in reaction to a US claim about Iran hosting a new Al-Qaeda leader, the foreign minister told the American government not to give false address.

“Those who created Al-Qaeda and DAESH must be held to account for spreading terrorism worldwide,” Amirabdollahian said.
