We feel sorry for our bereaved brothers in the two countries of Turkiye and Syria, Ayatollah Khamenei stated.
We ask the Almighty God’s mercy for the victims and wish for patience of the bereaved families, the Supreme Leader added.

The Supreme Leader went on to say that Iran has experienced such a calamity and knows when an earthquake occurs and the loved ones of some families lose their lives, the incident is so sad; therefore, we feel their pain and ask the Almighty God to give them patience and spiritual calmness.
As to the emergency aid by the Islamic Republic of Iran to the quake-hit neighboring states, he noted that the aid shipments will continue.
