Damascus, IRNA – Iran has reached significant achievements in economic, military, and space fields after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, a Syrian deputy minister said.

Syrian Deputy Culture Minister Ahmad Dawa told IRNA on Wednesday that Iran’s progress in different arenas indicates the achievements of the revolution.

The advancements are visible in all fields such as scientific, technological, nuclear, electricity, railway, and nano-tech arenas, Dawa noted.

In my opinion, Iran mobilized its own forces, capabilities, and equipment and could progress, he said, adding that the Islamic Republic has utilized the achievements and advancements in serving its own people and the nations of the region, which enhanced its influence in West Asia.

On the change of attitude of Iran before and after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Syrian official said that the Islamic Republic’s stances transformed in different aspects, including its stance in the face of the Zionist regime as well as the independence of Iran.

The Islamic Republic of Iran enjoys an important position in the region, he said, noting that Iran is located in a vital geographical situation, and it tries to resolve many regional disputes by the use of foreign policy tools, but the intervention of the United States is a stumbling block in the way of resolving the challenges and differences in the region.
