Iran's Taremi named Liga Portugal’s best player in Nov-Dec

Tehran, IRNA – Portuguese Football Players' Union has named Iran’s national football team and FC Porto striker Mehdi Taremi as best player of the country’s top flight league, known as Liga Portugal, for the two months of November and December.

Taremi won 16.78% of the votes cast in favor of the best Liga Portugal player in a poll conducted by the Union, according to the report by IRNA.

Taremi featured in Iran’s national football team in the 2022 World Cup that ended in Qatar last month. He scored two goals against England during the tournament.
