Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian has left the Omani capital Muscat for the Iranian capital Tehran.

FM Amirabdollahian arrived in Muscat on Tuesday to hold talks with high-ranking officials in Oman on issues of mutual interest, as well as regional and international developments.

Upon his arrival in Muscat, Amirabdollahian met with Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and conveyed a message of President Ebrahim Raisi to the Sultan.

The Iranian FM also held talks with some Omani officials, including Foreign Minister of Oman Sayyid Badr Bin Hamad Bin Hamood Al Busaidi.

Al Busaidi said that the current policy of Iran under President Ebrahim Raisi in terms of negotiations and consensus on disputed issues in the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal is wise and positive.
