Naderi made the remarks during a meeting in Tehran with Head of Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) Isa Hosseini Mazari.
He underlined the significance of issues related to Afghanistan and its people for the Iranian government under President Ebrahim Raisi.
Naderi also stressed the need for further promotion of ties between IRNA and AVA and proposed launching a joint newsroom which he said would help more enhanced cooperation and coverage of news of the two countries.
He also referred to the presence of some four to five million Afghan immigrants in Iran and said that IRNA attaches special significance to issues related to the immigrants.
In response to a request by the Afghan side for holding training courses for Afghan reporters, Naderi said that IRNA News College is ready to hold short-term and advanced training courses for Afghan reporters.
The head of Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), for his part, appreciated IRNA’s professional approach to Afghan issues, noting that IRNA has had the most realistic look at the issues in Afghanistan.
