In an address to the National Conference on Responsibility to Implement Constitution that kicked off in Tehran on Saturday, Qalibaf called for full adherence to the text and spirit of the Iranian Constitution.
He said any attempt to circumvent the Iranian Constitution or to use it for personal and political gains would damage the culture of law-abidance in the country.
“No matter what (political) orientation or taste, what religion or faith, or what ethnicity … we have to respect the Constitution,” said the Iranian parliament speaker.
