Qasreshirin, IRNA - Iranian exports to Iraq via border crossings located in the western province of Kermanshah reached over $1.771 billion in the eight months to November 22, according to a local customs official.

Moslem Ahmadi Nasr said on Thursday that Iranian exports via the province to Iraq had increased by 5% in value terms year on year in March-November.

Shipment also rose 6% in volume terms over the same period to top 4.418 million metric tons, said Ahmadi Nasr.

He said the Parviz Khan border, located near Qasreshirin, had been responsible for a bulk of Iran’s exports to Iraq via Kermanshah in the eight-month to late November as the crossing handled more than $551 million worth of shipments over the period.
