Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Saturday that hypocrisy in dealing with Iran will lead to regret.

The president made the remarks in a meeting in the Iranian capital with visiting Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi.

“Some regional and international parties regularly send messages of cooperation and interaction through mediators, but in the field of action, their behavior is different from their words; This hypocrisy will definitely make them regret,” President Raisi said.

Noting that relations between Tehran and Muscat are deep-rooted, the president said that these relations are expanding despite the will of the enemies.

He appreciated efforts made by the Omani government for further cooperation with Iran in different international issues.

The Omani foreign minister, for his part, hailed Iran’s stands in the face of regional and international issues, especially the policy of the government of President Raisi in reaching out to regional countries.

Albusaidi said that Oman’s relations with Iran are exemplary.

He also voiced his country’s support for Iran’s stands in negotiations with world powers for lifting of sanctions on the country.
