Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said on Wednesday that an Iranian delegation is to visit the Austrian capital in coming days for talks with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The foreign minister made the remarks in a joint press conference in Tehran with his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad.

He said that Iran's trade exchanges with Syria have risen in a significant way when compared to figures from the preceding year.

Amirabdollahian expressed hope that the visit to Vienna by the Iranian delegation will help resolve the outstanding issues between Iran and the UN nuclear agency.

He said that he will have a phone conversation later today with UN foreign policy chief Josep Borrell in which they will make the last coordination for the talks.
