Hassan Kazemi Qomi wrote on his Twitter account on Wednesday that he had "had constructive discussions" in a meeting with Mohammad Sadeq Khan, the special envoy of the prime minister of Pakistan on Afghanistan affairs.
The meeting was aimed at improving the situation of the people of Afghanistan and the stabilizing process in national and regional dimensions, according to Kazemi Qomi.
He also said that the continuation of regional cooperation will bring about positive results, adding that Iran continues its efforts and interactions to establish stability, improve people's living conditions, and fight against terrorism in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Sadeq Khan had a separate meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on Tuesday. In this meeting, Amirabdollahian said that implementing the agreements of the Tehran meeting on Afghanistan can ensure peace and stability in the region and development in Afghanistan.
The foreign minister said that the relations between the Iran and Pakistan are excellent, and yet they need to be further improved to boost regional security.
Amirabdollahian said that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers Pakistan's security as its own and is ready for boosting security cooperation with the country that will lead to boosting regional security.
