The Iranian official held talks with Pawel Jabłoński, the Polish Undersecretary of State for Economic and Development Cooperation, Africa and the Middle East during his visit to Tehran at the head of a delegation.
The two officials discussed bilateral economic issues and ways to enhance cooperation in different areas.
Safari said that representatives from the Iranian and Polish private sectors need to have more contacts, and that, efforts should be made in order to remove obstacles in the way of cooperation between the two countries.
The administration of President Ebrahim Raisi has put on its agenda the expansion of Iran’s ties with countries in different parts of the world.
To that aim, officials of different Iranian ministries have either been on foreign visits or hosted dignitaries from other countries since Raisi took office in August 2021.
