Tehran, IRNA – Iran's Legal Medicine Organization issued its report on Friday on the reason for the late Mahsa Amini's death a fortnight ago.

In the report it is said, "A brief report presented to the judiciary force, based on the hospital file, based on the Craniopharyngioma brain surgery in Milad Hospital in the year 2007, the Kasra Hospital in the period of time before her death, the description of her corps forensic inspection and its autopsy, tests on poison inspection, and numerous specialized and ultra-specialized committees, is arranged as follows:

The late female had a Craniopharyngioma brain surgery when she was eight-year-old in the hypothalamus-hypophysis axis (including the adrenal and thyroid glands). Due to that chronical disease the deceased lady was under the medication treatment with hydrocortisone, levothyroxine, and desmopressin drugs.

On September 17, 2022 at 19:56 pm she suddenly lost conscience and fell on the floor, that due to her chronological disease she could not adapt herself with the emerged conditions, and therefore, under such conditions her heart pulse was disrupted, her blood pressure dropped, and after that she lost consciousness, that due to the ineffective recovery acts for heart and breath regaining during the sensitive initial minutes, she was exposed to severe hypoxia of brain, which despite the return of the heart beat in emergency recovery operations and breath support, such moves were ineffective, and although she was transferred to the hospital and treated in Kasra Hospital, the patient due to MOF malfunction died on the 16th of September, 2022.

This report was prepared based on medical documents presented by hospitals, brain and lungs CT scan, inspection of her dead corpse and autopsy, and pathology, and therefore, her death was not due to being hit on her head, and her crucial body parts were not hit with hard objects.
