Jamaran destroyer provides Iranian ships with security in free waters

Tehran, IRNA – Commander of Iran’s Jamaran class destroyer has said that the indigenous destroyer could foil the consecutive attacks mounted by the pirates on the Iranian vessels in the international waters.

Through a video call, the commander said the destroyer is present in the international waters to provide security for the Iranian ships and carry out sea missions.

In recent weeks, Jamaran has carried out various operations to fight the pirates, the commander announced.

Such a fight did create a safe route for the ships, he concluded.
