New York, IRNA – Foreign ministers of Mali and Iran have underlined the need for all-out cooperation between the two countries.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, who is in New York following his presence in the 77 UN General Assembly, met with his Malian counterpart Abdoulaye Diop Monday afternoon.

The two foreign ministers expressed satisfaction with the exchange of political and economic delegations between the two friendly countries within the last one year.

They also emphasized on the all-out development of relationship, calling for the continuation of political consultations on issues of mutual interests as well as international developments.

The two top diplomats further said that agreements reached in joint economic commission should be pursued via contacts between private sectors as well as exchange of technical delegations from both sides.
