Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Saturday that national bodies will counter those who take measures against the country’s security and tranquility.

In a telephone conversation with the family members of Mohammad Rasoul Doost-Mohammadi, a security force who was killed during the recent unrest in the country, President Raisi said that there is a difference between protestors and vandals.

Expressed sympathy over the tragedy with the Doost-Mohammadi family, the president stressed the need to strongly face those who killed the officer.

On Wednesday (September 21), Doost-Mohammadi was killed during the turmoil in Mashhad, northeastern Iran.
