Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi who is in Uzbekistan called on Muslims to unite again enemies.

Raisi who is in Uzbekistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit attended a mosque in Samarkand on Thursday night.

The Iranian President addressed the worshipers on the unity among Muslims in the current world, saying that Muslims should follow Ahlul-Bayt who were symbols of unity.

Muslims should unite and counter those who stand against Islam and kill Muslims, Raisi said.

He also highlighted the historical ties and common beliefs between Iran and Uzbekistan and said that the two countries have planned to further expand their relations.
