Veronika Nikishina made the remarks in the opening ceremony of the Iranian solo exhibition in Moscow. Russia's Crocus Expo hosts the exclusive Iranian exhibition, slated for September 7 to 10.
She went on to say that the quality of Iran-made products is praiseworthy; therefore, Russian businesses are very keen on paying heed to their Iranian counterparts’ proposals.
The head of the Russian Export Center also said that the exhibition plays a key role in improving the quantity of supply and demand of commodities between Iran and Russia.
She went on to say that Iran’s construction industry enjoyed not only high quality but also excellent design.
Other Russian and Iranian officials underlined that the Iran-made goods have a remarkable potential to be presented in Russian markets and that the exhibition can pave the ground for Iranian companies to boost their presence in the friendly country.
The Iran Chamber of Cooperatives (ICC) has organized the expo in Moscow to showcase Iran-made commodities such as construction materials, foodstuff, agricultural products, energy, modern technology, transportation, banking and insurance, home appliances, decorations, spare parts, machinery items, industrial products, mines, metals, and related industries.
The Crocus Expo provides more than 50 participating companies in around 2,000 cubic meters to showcase their products and services.
Iran-made products, especially in agricultural, food, and construction, fields as well as petrochemical industries and hand-woven carpets, are good enough to be supplied in international markets, experts opine.
Head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Alireza Peymanpak, along with Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali, as well as some Iranian lawmakers, Russian economic officials, producers, and exporters took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
According to the TPO chairman, the organization gives importance to some factors in the expansion of trade ties with Russia, including the development of the market and economic exchanges.
He also noted that the TPO provides Russian and Iranian businesses to interact based on regulated principles and that holding solo and specialized exhibitions is one of the ways to enhance this kind of cooperation.
Iran plans to possess special pavilions in every specialized exhibition to be held in Russia, Peymanpak noted.
