But, they were defeated by the host country 3-6 and ranked second in the competitions.
Despite their defeat in the final, other participating teams including Australia, Japan, and Thailand appreciated the Iranian team for their good play.
In a related development, the women's padel team of Iran was ranked fifth in the contests.
The Egypt event was the first international presence of the female Iranian padel team.
