Tehran, IRNA – President Ebrahim Raisi and his cabinet members on Tuesday paid homage to the founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini at his mausoleum in southern Tehran.

Ebrahim Raisi, accompanied by his cabinet members, renewed allegiance to the ideals of the late Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, on Tuesday morning on the occasion of the government week in Iran.

Iranian President and members of the cabinet also paid tribute to the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and the Holy Defence.

This ceremony was also attended by Hassan Khomeini, the custodian of the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA).

Government week in Iran marks the martyrdom of former President Mohammad Ali Rajaei and his prime minister – Mohammad Javad Bahonar.
