Tehran, IRNA – Mahmoud al-Zahar, a senior member of Hamas, has appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran's support for the resistance movement in Palestine.

Al-Zahar made the remarks in an interview with the Al- Aqsa TV channel on Monday, saying that the Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine (HAMAS) is thankful for Iran's support for the anti-Zionist resistance.

As to Iran's support for the resistance axis, he noted that we are on the verge of a conflict called "the Promise of the Hereafter," so we should get ready for it.

The senior member of Hamas also pointed out this movement's relationships with other Islamic and Arab countries as well as all world states, saying that the ties are being formed in line with the liberation of Palestine.

The relationship of the Hamas movement with Egypt is also clear and the role of the Arab country concerning the issue of Palestine is important, al-Zahar argued.

On the anti-Zionist resistance in the West Bank, he mentioned that the resistance in the West Bank is a replica of the resistance in the Gaza Strip in terms of progress and creating concern and confusion among Zionist circles.
